The Tailoring Classes
Every community in the world has always given women a chance to prosper and to be skilled. We at FGF India take this to a step further by providing the essential tools and necessary education which is essential in enhancing the intellect and self sustaining capacity of the women of rural community.
The Tailoring Class is one of many such tools wherein we impart the necessary education needed for these women to be skilled and developed, and at the same time be self sustaining.
Our students come-in highly varied - housewives, regular students, widows and single mothers to name a few, but go out united by love, trained and motivated, self sustaining and adept.
Relief and Rehabilitation
Natural disasters are nature's way of uniting people regardless of Caste, Creed, Tribe or Religion. And at FGF India, we always make sure to make the above statement true.
FGF India believes in Jesus; the Word of God, and has taken up the moral and ethical responsibility to become the Good Samaritan that He wants us to be.
During the 1998 floods in North Eastern Uttar Pradesh, FGF India went an extra mile by not only providing food, shelter clothing but also emotional compensation and counselling to those who had lost their loved ones.
Adult Literacy
India has been a powerhouse that generates and produces engineers, doctors, educators, thinkers, philosophers and intellectuals.
while we have achieved a milestone in producing a major chunk of the professionals that the world has today, It cannot be denied that we haven't shown progress anywhere near to the former in the field of elementary education to the masses. As a result large masses of adults, both male and female remain illiterate.
FGF India, since its inception, has always been focused on bringing education to the masses. An undertaking for which, multiple tools are integrated together to achieve a good success rate. One such tools is the Adult Literacy Class. Occasionally but regularly, we teach illiterate adults elementary subjects and language. This helps them in their everyday work, business and relationships, which in turn, benefits the country s a whole.
